The Indian Community in Liberia headed by its Vice President, Mr. Pradeep Babani donates five TVs motorbikes and several pieces of assorted medical supplies to the Liberia National Police for use by its clinic.
A LNP press release says during the hand-over ceremony Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at the headquarters of the Liberia National Police, Mr. Pradeep Babani thanked the Inspector General of Police and his gallant officers for keeping the peace and the maintenance of law and order. He also lauded the police for providing security, not only for Liberians but for other nationals residing in Liberia.
“In recognition of your steadfastness in the fight against criminality, the Indian community in Liberia presents these assorted medical supplies and five motor bikes worth thousands of United States Dollars to enhance your operations,” the Indian community boss said.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Liberia National Police, Inspector General of Police Patrick Sudue thanked the Indian community in Liberia for the donation and recounted the organization’s contribution of One Thousand gallons (1,000gal) of fuel to the LNP during Liberia’s One Hundred Seventy Second (172nd) Independence Day celebrations.
IGP Sudue assured the Indian community that the items will be used for the intended purpose and urged other foreign nationals to follow suit.
He further promised the LNP’s fullest protection of all residents and the business community at large.
