By Kruah Thompson

The Minister of Internal Affairs Varney Sirleaf has bestowed traditional honors on members of a visiting delegation from the United Nations Alliance for Sustainable Development Goals (UNASDG) and INTEREKO in Monrovia.

Minister Sirleaf said the honors are a show of appreciation for the dedicated services rendered by members of the team geared toward the development of Liberia.

He disclosed the group is interested in forming a partnership with the Government of Liberia in areas of waste management, utilizing technology in Agriculture, road construction and maintenance, among others.

“The Ministry of Internal Affairs is glad that you honored our invitation and have come to partner with our government to solve some of our pressing development challenges “, he told the visiting delegation.

The project coordinator of INTEREKO and head of delegation Madam Malgorzata Andziak said she was well pleased with receptions received from various government agencies she and her team visited.

“We are pleased with the willingness, openness, and huge potential we have seen so far”, Madam Andziak told Minister Sirleaf.

INTEREKO is a waste management company based in Poland. A delegation of the company has been in Liberia as guests of the Minister of Internal Affairs Varney A. Sirleaf.
