Jackson Expected April 2

Liberia’s Under-23 and Watanga FC midfielder, Patrick Jackson is expected in Monrovia Saurday from Ghana. The player broke his right ankle while playing for Liberia against Cote d’Ivoire on Sunday in Ghana.

According to the club representative with the player in Ghana, Andy Quamie, Jackson will leave the 37 Military Hospitals in Ghana today after receiving the necessary medical attention from doctors.

The player will miss the rest of the season and all international matches for the next six months. The absence of the player in the middle at Watanga will be felt because of his diligence and commitment.

Patrick Jackson was selected by Hungarian coach Bertalan Bicskei during his first recruitment of players for Liberia trio nation’s tournament held at the SKD Sports Stadium last year during Liberia’s Independent celebrations. Since his addition to the junior national team, Jackson has maintained his position in all of the under-23 matches.
