Japanese Envoy To Present Letters of Credence

The Japanese Ambassador-designate to Liberia, Mr. Noato Nikai is expected to present his Letters of Credence to President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced. The Ministry says the ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m. in the Office of the President at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It said at 10:45 a.m., the Chief of Protocol of the Republic of Liberia and the President’s Aide-de-Camp will proceed to the residence of the Ambassador-designate and accompany him and his suite to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Upon arrival at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ambassador and suite will be escorted to the Office of the President of the Republic of Liberia.  The ministry said the Ambassador is expected to hand deliver his speech to the President and, thereafter, present his Letter of Credence.
