JCS To Benefit From Over 200 Armchairs

Juarzon Central Junior High School or JCS in Juarzon Statutory District, Sinoe County in Southeastern Liberia is to benefit from over 200 pieces of armchairs. The School is also expected to be elevated to a Senior High level.

Mr. Peter Edison Tababo, Interim Head of the Bilibokree Amuenu Development Association or BADA told the New Dawn that the donation to the school was made through the organization by the Deputy Education Minister for Administration, Mathew Zarzar, when he served as Keynote Speaker during the organization’s rally on 14 November last year.

He said, with the resumption of the second and final half of the academic programme for 2009/10, it was important for the materials to be transported and delivered on January 16 to Juarzon by a 3-man team from the organization in Monrovia.

According to the BADA Executive Director, Deputy Minister Zarzar also assured the organization of the Ministry of Education’s preparedness to elevate the school from its current status to Senior High level, but challenged them to identify trained and qualified manpower to teach.

Tababo also announced the amount of over L$80,000.00  in cash and kind during the rally held on the campus of the G. W. Gibson High School in Monrovia .to help  undertake projects in the district”.

He noted, that the organization was inactive for almost 12-years but was last year, re-organized, at which time he and elected into an Interim Leadership
