K-Delta Starts Positive

The Liberia Basketball Association national league kickoff on Saturday with two entertaining matches at the Monrovia Sports Commission. The league is composed of forty five clubs including the females in all divisions, 1st, 2nd, 3rd battling for the championship over the next months to come.

Last season female champion, K-Delta made some new signing into the squad for this season as they seek to shield their championship.

Angel Shooter female team started the clashed with K-Delta on a good note but, later loss control of their game in the second quarter as they were whipped 31-53 by K-Delta. K-Delta singed on Marjean Sherman, a Liberian that played in the American college basketball league.

Marjean Sherman introducing into the game gave spectators the needed mature style of played to be observed; she netted 12 of the 53 baskets bouquet in by K-Delta. Aisha Syllah made the total of 10 baskets for K-Delta during the heated game with Angel Shooter.

In the 1st division, Monrovia SkyForce handle Dream Team during the late hours after K-Delta and Angel Shooter game, the game ended 70-56 in favor of Monrovia SkyForce.

James Debbah Turns Defender

Former Lone Star attacking midfielder James S. Debbah contracted by Indonesian league one side Persiram Raja Ampat FC  was seeing playing as a Libaro for the club during its one-one matche on Friday against Gresik United FC.

The Liberian midfielder moved to center defense after his fellow Liberian Kubay Quyan was red carded. Debbah is the oldest Liberian player in Indonesia, follow by Oliver Makor.

Moving to Liberian in Europe, Patrick Doeplah and George Baysah aid Hapoel Kfar Saba to a one zero victory on Friday against Maccabi Herzliya, the club moved on top of the table with 59 points from 27 matches.

Ben Martin and Amos Kollie were in Hapoel Nazareth Illit 3-0 victory against visiting side Maccabi Ahi Nazareth on Friday. In Greece, Solomon Grimes club Ethnikos settled to a goalless game with Thrasyvoulos on Sunday, Dulee Johnson club Panetolikos won against Anagenisi Karditsas 3-1 Sunday, Theo Weeks side Rizespor beat  Akhisar-Belediye-Genclik Ve Spo 2-0 yesterday.
