LACC On Course With ELENILTO Investigation

The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) says its investigation into the ELENILTO Western Cluster bid is on course.

Accordingly, several personalities including former Lands, Mines & Energy Minister, Dr. Eugene Shannon and former Deputy Minister of Lands, Mines & Energy for Operations, Mr. Ernest C.B. Jones have appeared to assist the investigation with statements as to their involvement in the negotiations.

Meanwhile, the LACC last Thursday arrested the Acting Managing Director of the Liberia National Lotteries, Mr. Michael Wiles for failing to honor several citations from the Commission for investigation regarding his involvement in corruption at the National Lotteries. He was later released upon the intervention of his lawyer.
