This the initiative is a direct result of a request from the new leadership of the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority(LCAA) under the leadership of Mr. Julius D. Dennis who upon talking over the affairs of the CAA requested the ICAO Regional Office for an assist mission to help remedy the dismal score highlighted in the International Civil Aviation Organization/Universal Safety Oversight Audit Program – Continuous Monitoring Audit (ICAO/USOAP-CMA) results of the Liberian aviation sector. “The LCAA is eager to learn from the vast experience of the ROST team,” said Stephen R. Johnson Acting Director General. “We are confident that their findings and recommendations will serve as a roadmap for further enhancing aviation safety in Liberia.”
