Liberian diplomat in Cameroon dies

The Charge d’ Affairs and Head of Mission of the Liberian Embassy in Cameroon is reported dead, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.Charge d’ Affairs Siaka G. Fahnbulleh, Sr, died on Tuesday June 2, 2020 in Cameroon. No information about the cause of death has been given.

The late Charge d’ Affairs Fahnbullehjoined the Liberian Foreign Service in the late 90’s a position in which he served with dedication and distinction. According to the Liberian Foreign Ministry he was a dedicated public servant who served his country, the Republic of Liberia and people with distinction.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs extend heartfelt sympathy to the bereave family for the loss of this distinguish personality, the Ministry is currently working with the bereave family, to have his remains repatriated to Liberia for a befitting burial.
