Lofa: Magisterial Court Burnt By Unknown Men

Reports from the Northern County of Lofa say unknown men have set ablaze the Magisterial Court in Voinjama. According to reports monitored from that county; the incident was discovered early Monday morning and reported by a local ambulance driver.

It was further reported that the main entrance of the courts building along with other documents near the scene were all destroyed by fire. Although no arrests have been made, local police in the area are said to have launched an investigation to ascertain what might have gone wrong resulting to the fire incident.

Meanwhile, the Liberia National Police or LNP Women and Children Division of Lofa County have arrested and charged to court an officer of the Inter Con Security for what they termed as Statutory Rape.

The detainee, Throkon Bryant, 24 was arrested and charged to court Monday pending trial for allegedly raping a 15 years old girl in her bedroom.
