Lone Star Cell MTN erects 6 towers in Grad Kru
Lone Star Cell MTN has constructed five additional towers across Grand Kru County, southeast Liberia, bringing to six, the number of communication towers built so far in the county by the nation’s premier GSM Company.
The towers are constructed in strategic areas in the county, including Grand Cess, Zodoken, Garraway, BuahGeeken and Wakpoh, respectively. Disclosing this to The New Dawn recently in Barclayville, Grand Kru, Mr. Henry Akachukwu, supervisor of Ericssion, a Nigerian-based telecommunication implementing partner for Lone Star Cell MTN, says these projects which also include another tower constructed in Juanyen, Sinoe County would not have taken a year to complete if deplorable roads and other challenges did not pose hindrance during implementation.
However, Mr. Akachukwu praises residents of the benefiting communities for their care and cooperation in having the exercise completed. He notes that with the presence of the six towers in the county, Lone Star Cell MTN has now covered 90 percent of Grand Kru as regards telecommunication services.
