Lone Star Cell MTN Identifies With Wheelbarrow Riders

Liberia’s leading Mobile Communication Network, Lone Star Cell MTN,has identified with several wheel barrow unions in the commercialdistricts of waterside and the Duala in Monrovia and Bushrod Island,respectively. According to the company, the gesture was from the backdrop of how difficult riders find it while transporting goods andother materials to long destinations old wheels.

The company noted that it cares about its customers and remainscommitted to changing their lives across the country. It said it is not only restricted to telecommunication activities, butalso engaged in other activities intended to benefit Liberians and thepublic at large.

Lone Star’s donation was greeted by wheelbarrow riders withcelebrations and praises in waterside and Duala. They received one wheelbarrow each and a T-Shirt each, as their simcards were registered with the company’s mobile money program.

Lone Star Cell/MTN said it was necessary to identify with wheelbarrowriders because many had forgotten them in society. “We at Lone Star Cell thought it wise to come and identify with you;we understand that most of you are facing tough times, especially withold wheelbarrows. Our coming here today is to give you new one, andregistered your sim card with mobile money in order for you to startsaving your own money,” said Lone star cell MTN Communication OfficerZenu Miller when he spoke separately at the various sites during thedonations last weekend.

The Senior Acting Mobile Money Manager at Lone Star Cell MTN, Mrs.Massa Dennis also told the wheelbarrow riders that the management ofthe company appreciated their efforts using your old wheelbarrows totransport goods and other materials from one location to another – a service that motivated its intervention.

“We want to assure you that this will not be the last time; we willcontinue to work with you in ensuring that your tireless efforts willnot go in vine. We care about you as our valuable customers and wewill make sure that all of your needs are met,”Mrs. Dennis said,further noting that the essence of the company identifying with theriders and others groups is to fulfill its promise to the Liberianpeople.
