Lone Star to finish Djibouti today

Lone StarDjibouti national team, Shoreman of the Red Sea

The national team of Liberia, the Lone Star host their counterpart Shoreman of the Red Sea of Djibouti today at 4P.M. at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia in the second leg of the Nations Cup Qualifier after the home boys’ brilliant 1-0 victory away last Thursday, 24 March which earns them six vital points from three matches.

The victory at Stade El Hadj Hassan Gouled Djibouti in Ville de is the Lone Star’s second in Group A. The visiting side are already in the country for today’s return leg. Liberia sits in Group A with Togo, Tunisia and Djibouti after defeating Tunisia here in Monrovia and Djibouti away.

The home boys have two more matches to play before making it to the Nations Cup – Togo at home and Tunisia away. The Lone Star, dubbed the nation’s only pride under Head Coach James Salinsa Debbah are sailing their way to the top one step at the time.

Coach Debbah is hopeful of winning both Djibouti and Togo in Monrovia, which could make a very significant difference in their drive to qualify for the Nations Cup. He has promised to make radical changes in today’s return leg at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.

The Shoreman of the Red Sea of Djibouti, from the horn of Africa, are ranked 204 in the world, and had never won any competitive match, currently at the bottom of the group.
