Lonestar Cell MTN Conducts 2nd Draw

Lonestar Cell MTN has hit second week with its July 26 text and win promotion and the use one and get one weekly raffle draw. The draw is the company’s July 26 gift to subscribers as Liberia celebrates 166th Independence.

The raffle draw is in two categories: the LD$50,000 winners were required to text 267 to the short code 267, while the US$5,000 business value category were asked to use US$1 a day during the week to enter the draw automatically.

Lonestar Cell MTN Chief of Corporate Affairs Dr. Laurence Bropleh said the company is not only specialized in communication, but was as well contributing to the growth and development of Liberia through the weekly draw for the July 26 season.

Dr. Bropleh described the draw as transparent and fair, explaining that “The computer will pick the number; we will dial it, but the rules of the draw are that you should always keep your phone on, because if we call you three times and you don’t pick your call, you will lose the money or your business.”

Some of the winners this week include Peter Borbor, Joetta Moore, Florence Ricks-Somah who texted 267 to the short code 267 and won for themselves LD$50,000 thousand each.

The numbers are dial three times, and when it is not picked up or answered by its owner after the three times dialing, the subscribers automatically loses a chance of winning.
