Lonestar Cell MTN ends promotion

Liberia’s GSM giant, Lonestar Cell MTN has concluded its mega ‘WaySay WaSa’ promotion, which started a few months ago with a raffle draw in Monrovia. The draw, which brought together over 100  LoneStar Cell MTN subscribers at the company’s head offices in oldest Congo Town over the weekend, concluded with a subscriber walking away with an AVEO car that costs about US$15,000.

At the climax of the promotion over 200 prizes, ranging from DStv set with six month subscription fee paid by Lonestar Cell MTN, Android Smart phones, gasoline coupons and scratch cards   were given away to the winners, who took part in the exercise.

The brand new Aveo, Chevrolet vehicle plus one year, fueling was given as the grand prize. The promotion requested subscribers of Lonestar Cell MTN to text WIN to 6464 to enter the draw. Speaking at the ceremony, incoming CEO, Dr. Babatunde Osho, said the draw intended to put a smile on the faces subscribers instead of engaging in acts that would drive customers away.

CEO Osho said Lonestar cell MTN believes that engaging in activities that involves subscriber’s participation will help to improve the company, adding that because without the fullest cooperation and participation of subscribers in a promotion like this, they will not benefit from the company.

According to him the welfare and interest of every LoneStar Cell MTN subscribe matters most to the management, and added this was the company’s way of expressing just how much she values her customers in terms of promotion. Osho, a Nigerian, pledged his support to working with every employee of the company, saying, “I will work to ensure that this company improves in the way it should be for the betterment of all.”

As part of the prizes, the Marketing Services Manager of the company, Ibrahim Daramie, said management will fuel the car for one year.  The winner of the Grand Chevrolet Aveo described the process as “unbelievable.” He lauded the management and staff of the company for providing quality mobile communication services in the country.

“I am so excited by this process. It is unbelievable. I am completely out of words and don’t know what to say. All I can say is a big thank you to LoneStar Cell MTN for this promotion.”

Meanwhile, other consolation prizes given out by LoneStar Cell MTN at the grand draw include: M3 mobile phones, DStv set plus six month subscription, 250KVA generator and scratch cards, among others.
