Liberia’s GSM giant, Lonestar Cell MTN has launched a prestige club to enhance the strong customer relationship, while expressing appreciation to MTN subscribers here for their loyalty and patronage over the years.
Prestige club is an exclusive Club of Loyal High Value Customers of Lonestar Cell MTN whose members have distinguished themselves through exceptional loyalty and patronage to the GSM Company.
At the launch of the program in Monrovia, the GSM giant showered prestige club members with gifts, prizes and rewarded its Platinum, Elite and Premier Customers.
Serving as key launcher of the Lonestar Cell MTN Prestige Club, Liberia’s Posts and Telecommunications Minister, Dr. Fredrick Norkeh, praised the company for its services to the Liberian people.
Minister Norkeh described the initiative by Lonestar Cell MTN as a good one that should be emulated by other service providers in Liberia.
He said the initiative by the MTN family is in line with the Posts and Telecommunications Ministry’s policy for customers to benefit from service providers in the country.
Presenting the prizes to the Prestige Club members at the event, Lonestar Cell MTN’s Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Sekou Barry, said Lonestar Cell MTN customers, who have stayed loyal to the company for five years and beyond and those who have stayed for ten (10) years and beyond with the highest spending have each started receiving free credits on their phones.
Mr. Barry averred that Lonestar Cell MTN will continue this offer to its valuable customers as a way of giving back to them. Also speaking at the occasion, CEO Tebogo Mogapi, said Lonestar Cell MTN has established the Prestige Club to appreciate customers that have stayed a long time with the company and have spent more money while with the GSM company.
The Lonestar Cell CEO noted that the idea of appreciating its customers is the same major airlines done to customers that have stayed with their airlines for long time. “It is the same when you travel using some of our airlines around here, they appreciate their customers that have done business with them for years,” he noted.
The CEO, however, encouraged all Lonestar Cell MTN subscribers to stay connected with the company as more offers are coming up for everyone using the GSM network. The occasion also featured Miss Margaret Cephas, 1st Winner in the Project Fame Competition held in Nigeria recently, who thrilled the audience with her golden voice.
