Lonestar Cell MTN opens new Point of Sales

Living out part of its vision of taking service to the people, Vai Town, Bushrod Island in Monrovia was the scene of great jubilation and excitement amongst thousands of subscribers and residents when the Chief Executive Officer, Senior Managers and staff of Lonestar Cell MTN commissioned yet another branch or Point of Sales on December 5.

Lonestar Cell MTN has several branches or Points of Sales around the country which offer subscribers and the public direct access to the many services and innovative products that Lonestar Cell MTN offers. 

The Vai Town area is home to over 30,000 (Thirty Thousand) residents, with an additional 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand) residents in surrounding communities, inclusive of Clara Town on the Bushrod Island that will have access to this office.

According to the CEO of Lonestar Cell MTN, Mazen Mroue, being the Leader in converged telecommunications and the best network with the  widest coverage and fastest mobile internet in Liberia means that at all times and in all places,  subscribers must have full access to all Lonestar Cell MTN’s services and products.

“We are expanding our Sales & Distribution network as well as our Customer Service to all our subscribers and the public throughout the country because this supports the government of Liberia’s development agenda that also calls for access to relevant services.” Mr. Mroue told those gathered at the commissioning program.

The new Point of Sales which will have additional dedicated agents where customers will be able to have access to various transactions including Mobile Money and all monetary transactions; SIM registration and other services.

This Point of Sales is also home to a Lonestar Cell MTN internet Café using the newest 3G technology based on WiMAX.  Lonestar Cell MTN is the only GSM Company in Liberia that has the fastest mobile internet based on the above technology.

Lonestar Cell MTN’s Chief of Corporate Communications Dr. Laurence Konmla Bropleh said that the company has a comprehensive plan to strategically develop the telecommunications sector in collaboration with the Liberian Government and other supporting partners.

According to Dr. Bropleh, because of its ability to always reach out in transformative ways to improve the lives of its subscribers, Lonestar Cell MTN is not just the leader in converged telecommunications in Liberia, but also the Partner of Choice for hundreds of thousands of subscribers.  He said more Points of Service would be opened in other parts of the country.
