Lonestar Cell MTN has made one of its Liberian subscribers, Solomon Kollie a millionaire by awarding him L$1,000,000.00 through the country’s July 26 weekly raffle draw over the weekend.
Solomon was declared winner of the L$1 million when his number appeared on the projector screen during the draw after the computer key was punched by an unknown little girl to find the winner. Like other winners of the draw, Solomon text 267 to the short code which qualified him to enter the draw.
Lonestar Cell MTN over the weekend also gave away to 10 of its valuable costumers L$50,000 each in a weekly text and win July 26 raffle draw.
The raffle required subscribers to text 267 to the short code 267 for only US$0. 25 to qualify for the draw. The raffle was conducted in two phases -the first was ‘Text and Win’ followed by the ‘Use One and Get One’ promotion.
Subscribers of the ‘use one, get one’ promotion qualified for the draw by using US$1.00 every day or US$7.00 weekly. The weekly two winners of this promotion walked away with US$5,000 worth of business, including free Lonestar Cell products, scratch cards, SIMs, and phones, among others.
Robbin Siakor and Vetiama Behama were the two subscribers of the win your own business promotion, while Francis Blama, M. Othello Paypaye, Mohammed Sherriff, Joseph Korzuvah, Varney Nelson, and Ophelia Wheaton were all winners of L$50,000 each.
The weekend draw was the climax of the July 26 weekly draw, introduced by Lonestar Cell MTN to give back to its many subscribers. The winner of the L$1 million, Solomon Kollie, thanked the Lonestar Cell MTN family for the opportunity promised to make good use of the money.
