LoneStar Gives Away US$16,500 in Raffle Draw

An employee of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees Amos Sonyah March 26, 2011 won for himself a brand new fully loaded Chevrolet Aveo car in a special 2011 raffle draw being held by Lonestar mobile.

 

This is the fourth vehicle so far that the Lone Star Communications Company has given away to its customers through a raffle draw in this year alone. The US$16,500 Chevrolet Aveo, was the first among several other prizes including, one TVS Star Motor Bike value at US$1000 and one set of flat screen television.

Sonyah, the winner of last weekend’s vehicle unable to reach the Lonestar Cell Broad Street venue of the draw due to his participation in a wedding held at his church at the time. He is a resident of Saclepea in Nimba County and will soon take delivery of his new asset, pending the completion of documentations to be processed by Lone Star cell.

At the same time, another subscriber of Lonestar Cell, David S. Johnson was the proud winner of the new TVS Sports Star motorcycle in the same draw. Both men expressed joy and confident in the transparency associated with the conduct of such an auspicious give-away exercise.

This brings to four the number of cars that have been given away by Liberia most recommended GSM network to its numerous subscribers across Liberia. It can be recalled, that scratch card dealer; Gasimu Kamara won the first car in this series, followed by Madam Elizabeth Karnean; a petty trader and Humphrey Massaquoi of United Bank for Africa (UBA).

Meanwhile, hundreds of Liberian subscribing to the service of Lonestar Cell on March 26, 2011 walked away with several valuables prices, including 21” color television sets, DVD Stereo sets, Cellular phones, US 50.00 free air time and bags of clean United States (US) parboiled rice among others.

The draw is expected to continue this coming weekend at Lonestar cell’s Broad Street office, where many more prizes are expected to be given away. In a brief chat with Journalists shortly after the raffle draw, Lonestar Cell Marketing Officer Lorenzo Harmon expressed satisfaction over the manner in which Liberians have welcomed the draw.

Adding, “I am happy that somebody from outside Monrovia, Montserrado County has won the grand prize in our scheduled give aways.” According to him, Lonestar Cell is here to always put smiles on the faces of its valuables customers.

Mr. Harmon said, the company is giving out these prizes to their subscribers with no regret, because they made Lonestar Cell what it is today. He urged all Liberians to begin subscribing to the services of his company so as to enjoy quality and affordable GSM services.
