Lonestar Gives Out More Cash

Lonstar Cell MTN weekly raffle draw has again positively impacted the life of another Liberian. With a cash prize of L$10,500.00, Thomas Ampomah is the monthly winner for the month of January. He is reported to be the least monthly winner since the draw began last December.

The first monthly winner walked away with L$500,000 during the draw in December. Alphonso Jutee was announced the monthly winner  in the company’s raffle draw when his number appeared on a projector screen in his absence, but in the presence of the public and media, making him the winner of the monthly price of L$500,000.

The GSM Company last Friday announced Thomas Ampomah as the winner of January after he texted just one message for the whole month.

There were other winners, who walked away with huge sums of Liberian Dollars in the draw. The first monthly winner, Alphonso who could not wait to collect his price the next day, immediately rushed to the Lonestar MTN office in joy to collect his money.

When quizzed about his impression, he said: “I feel happy; I feel so, happy for what I have won from this text and win draw; looking at me winning such huge money is unbelievable.”

He described the opportunity as very timely, especially at a difficult time for him. According to him, he has no job of his own, but depended on other drivers to earn a living. Alphonso noted that such money will afford him the opportunity to self-employment and a boss of his own.

Alphonso, 33, added that with the amount he won from Lonestar Cell MTN, his life was about to change, praising the company for creating such opportunity to improve the condition of the poor. He, however, encouraged his colleagues and all Lonestar subscribers to continue texting to win like him.

Meanwhile, the winner of the month of January for Lonestar Cell MTN ninth weekly draw is expected to receive his money this Friday February 10, 2012, while Mark Giddings last Friday collected L$250,000 cash prize.

The company also gave out L$60,000 airtime during the sixth week of the promotional period.
