Amongst a series of descriptions, Boakai’s loyalists described Cllr. Brumskine as a dishonest man who cannot be trusted with the highest office of the land.  But as if this was not enough to end the war of words, LP Chairman Benjamin Sanvee returned early Thursday morning on a local FM station, Prime FM likening Veep Baokai to an old car in park in garage waiting for repairs.
The youthful LP chairman indicated that for the past ten years, the vice president as second in command of this current administration has failed to point to anything as achievement only because he failed to display quality leadership ability and terribly failed to provide significant advices to the president for the forward match of the state.

Boakai has claimed less responsibility for this government ill, indicating it did not make use of the opportunities it had from the onset. According to Sanvee, the ten years of service, Boakai failed to lobby for the pavement of his home county, Lofa County Road, the county once knew as food basket is now on its bended knees seeking for the supply of pepper, grains and other commodities that were once produced during past administrations.

He indicated the vice presidency post occupied by Boakai for ten years, the people of Lofa County has nothing to show for such high profile position instead, Boakai contributed to the failure of the Libyan rice production project, which would have created more jobs and reduce the importation of rice on the Liberian market.

Commenting on the criticisms on the Liberty Party political leader, Cllr. Charles Brumskine, Sanvee said that the criticism is huge because of the popularity of his boss and it is clearly indicates that Brumskine is best option for the presidency.

Sanvee intimated that Vice President Boakai, as former minister agriculture miserably failed to have neither farm nor garden in backyard as sound of his good agriculture background.
The comments of Sanvee came following stinking attacks on Cllr. Brumskine by, Nimba County District ‘9’ Representative Richard MatenokayTingba.
Tinba rising to the defense of Boakai described Cllr. Brumskine as is a ‘cursed politician’ who needs repentance.

Representative Tingba comments were in reaction to Cllr. Brumskine’s recent statement in Nimba County, at which time he described the Vice President and Unity Party Standard Bearer; Joseph NyumahBoakai is a ‘sleeping giant’.

The Nimba County lawmaker described Cllr. Brumskine’s statement as an insult to Vice President Boakai. According to Representative Tingba, Vice President Boakai has risen to the task of performing his duties to the delight of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and the Liberian people.

‘’He goes to work regularly for the last eleven years; does his cabinet meeting regularly and presides in the absence of the president; over the senate session; represents the president at both foreign and local functions and hold meetings with citizens up to 12:00 Mid night on a daily basis-VeepBoakai cannot be sleeping and doing all these, Brumskine got to be a joker to say that’’ Representative Tingba noted.

Tingba observed that Brumskine’s comments in Nimba County clearly shows that he has no substantial issue against Vice President Boakai. “Leaders do not lie to their citizens for votes; Brumskine, (Bassa) has lied about farming and other things. –Edited by Othello B. Garblah
