Police in Gbarnga have charged a twenty-six year old man with manslaughter after a fight resulting to the death of Victor Roberts- a twenty year- old student of the Dementa Road Community in Gbarnga.
Emmanuel Kerkulah was charged after he admitted to engaging in a fight with the late Victor Roberts at a play station center last Thursday afternoon. Speaking to reporters, suspect Kerkulah explained that at about 11 am, the late Victor Roberts, while in his school uniform, entered the center and was denied, but forcibly made his way through and began playing.
He said when he noticed that Victor was still in, he attempted asking him out, indicating that it was at that point that they got into a fist fight. Suspect Kerkulah – a secondary school drop-out, pleaded for mercy as the death of Victor Roberts – his friend, was not intentional.
