Man, 40, found dead in Methodist Church

A 40-year-old man has reportedly committed suicide in the mano congregation church of the United Methodist Church in Ganta, Nimba County.

The NewDawn Nimba correspondent said the late Daniel William, commonly known as Cheapo, was an employee of the SEGAL private security firm in Yekapa, but left for Ganta to seek spiritual treatment.
His remains were discovered hanging inside the church edifice by a chorister of the mano congregation, who had gone for rehearsal in preparation for Sunday’s service.

It has not been established how the deceased entered the United Methodist Church as all of the church’s doors were locked the day before the incident. Meanwhile, police in Nimba have arrested a pastor of the church, Yar Kpoa and two of his members for interrogation in connection with the death inside the church edifice.
