Man, 46, dies in hotel

Man 46A 46-year-old man has been found dead in a local hotel in Ganta, Nimba County with oozing blood thru his nose. The deceased, identified as SiakeKweyatee, was a driver employed with a local NGO called PARLEY that is involved in settling land disputes in Bong and Nimba Counties.

The head of the field team for PARLEY, David Lamah, narrated to The NewDawnNimbaCorrespondent that the late SiakeKweyatee was a driver for the entity based in Gbarnga, Bong County, and had left with the team for Sanniquellie, Nimba County to settle some land cases.

Team leader Lamah said following the day’s work in Sanniquellie on Tuesday, 22 March the team decided to spend the night in Ganta City, so the late SiakeKweyatee drove the staff to a guesthouse and left alone with the vehicle to book a room at Sam Guest House also in Ganta to spend the night where his dead body was discovered the next morning, which was Wednesday, 23 March.
He disclosed that the late SiakeKweyatee was a Hypertension or High Blood Pressure patient.

When contacted, the management of the Sam Guest House confirmed the deceased entered the business premises at 9:00 P.M. on March 22, 2016 and booked a room for the night, but was found dead the next morning.

According to the management, the late Kweyatee’s remains were discovered in the bathroom where he might have gone to shower. Police in Ganta have begun investigation into the incident to establish circumstances that may have caused the death.
