Man commits suicide in Ganta

A 24-year-old man has been found hanging dead in his bedroom in New Wou Town, outside Ganta, Nimba County. The remains of the late Rancy Larkpor were discovered by family members last week in the county.

Family sources said police jailed the victim for two days at the Ganta police depot after one of his two girlfriends only identified as Manwah, reported him to the Police.

Reasons for complaining him to the police were not provided, but the deceased reportedly had two girlfriends. The NewDawn correspondent in Nimba said one of his two girlfriends has a baby, while the other is pregnant. The late Rancy Larkpor was also a father of four children.

Meanwhile, authorities in Ganta have constituted a 50-member investigative board to probe the death of the victim in his bedroom in what is being referred to as a suspected suicide.
