Man commits suicide in Nimba

A 22-yearold man has reportedly taken his own life in Lao Ganwin, electoral district eight, Nimba County. No reason has been established why the late Jacob Korzay committed the act.

The deceased had previously lived in Tonwin Town before relocating to Lao Ganwin Town to find work to do in order to earn money to take care of his family, but how he ended taking his own life still remains a mystery in the county. This paper gathered the deceased’s corpse was discovered lying in a pool of blood.

Cyrus Gayweh, an eyewitness narrated the late Jacob was among a group of four individuals, including himself (Cyrus) who were taking care of one Rev. Edwin Gbor. He said there was no conflict among them, but the deceased left a pregnant widow.

Eyewitness Cyrus continued that the late Jacob Korzay took a single barrel shut gun and went in the bush to hunt only to have heard him cried for help. The deceased’s body was allegedly found lying in a pool of blood with his intestines gushed out.
