Man Stabbed to Death In Nimba

A man has been stabbed to death his 26 year-old friend in Dumpa Town in District Number Seven in Nimba County.

Eyewitness told the New Dawn Nimba County correspondent that the incident occurred on a card board between the deceased and suspect, when the victim won the gamble.

According to our correspondent, suspect Chris Seegbay, who reportedly stabbed 19 year-old Vardah Vaye, has been arrested and charged by the Liberia national police.

Our Correspondent said Dumpa Town is among several towns in Nimba County  in which mob violence is rampant.

Meanwhile, police in Sanniquellie,  Nimba County have also arrested a 28 year-old man for stabbing his friend several times on his body.

The incident took place in the Fargarlo Street Community in Sanniquellie.

The wife of  victim Erasmus Tokpah who is under critical condition at the G.W. Harley Hospital in Sanniquellie, Nimba County, Helen Zawolo,  told the New Dawn that suspect Prince Saye was on his way from purchasing food items from the market when he was asked by Hellen about the items he had bought.  Hellen’s question may have angered suspect Saye to attack and undress her- an action which attracted the intervention of the victim.
