Margibi County Superintendent Jerry Vannie says his leadership is geared toward reconciliation and development in the county. Sup. Vannie says the Pro-poor government of President George Manneh Weah is interested in the business of reconciling the citizens of Liberia in relation to development for all.
He maintains that his office will make sure that the citizens of margibi are totally engaged in the process leading to reconciliation and development.According to him, he will not engage in corruption to “spoil” the image of the Weah -led government. Mr. Varnie call on his fellow partisans of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) to do away with acts that will impede the good examples and image of President Weah, who he says has fought a good fight over the years to make sure that Liberia could be counted among the comity of Nations.
He stresses that development can bring investors in the country, but he hopes Liberians will work together for the betterment of all. Mr. Varnie says he would form a team to create massive awareness on the reconciliation and development processes for his people to be sensitized to hold the belief that living by probity, dedication and honesty are responsibilities of a people living together in a giving society.
According to him, to encourage good leadership in Margibi, he will try to bring on board stakeholders closer together for this initiative.In another development, Sup. Varnnie says he and his Margibi County caucus will work in line with the development and reconciliation drive in making sure that every decision in the county will be felt by all citizens alike.
He has suggested a means by which the county could develop and become self – reliant, saying that engaging in agriculture activities in the county would address issue of food security in Margibi.
He then calls on margibians to work hard in defense of the “Pro – Poor” Government, maintaining that all is not rosy, as President Weah is doing all in his reach to make sure that Liberia becomes stronger forever.
