Margibians want road equipment

Margibi County authorities have disclosed plan to purchase road equipment for the county.

The Chairman of the Margibi Legislative Caucus, Representative Emmanuel Nuquay, made the disclosure recently when he noted that in the rural parts of Margibi, citizens are complaining of the lack of roads.
According him, the five districts of the county have resolved from a county sitting to purchase road equipment, something he said, the county’s authorities have embraced and decided to implement to the fullest for the benefit of the citizens.

The Margibi District Five Lawmaker said between now and the end of 2015, a set of road equipment will be in the county to solve the road problem. He said whatever funding the central government has for the county, the decision now is to secure a set of road equipment.

Nuguay added that farm-to-market road is one of the major priorities of Margibians. According to him, the county will receive US$200, 000 as county development fund and US$875, 000 as social development fund from the China Union Concession which will total US$1,075,000.
