Mary Broh Begins Taekwondo Training

The acting Monrovia City Mayor Mary Broh, known for her hash approaches to addressing issues relative to her duties, was last weekend officially invited to go through Taekwondo training at the Rush Taekwondo Academy, formerly the Scorpion Taekwondo Academy.

The disclosure was made by Master Junior Pewee Russian, when the friendship Fitness Club and the Rush Taekwondo Academy made a symbolic donation of several hundreds of locally made brooms to the Monrovia City Cooperation (MCC).

The donation has been seen as another means of buttressing the MCC’s quest for a “Clean and Green Monrovia,” but the invitation for Monrovia City Mayor to be taught taekwondo has been criticized by many Liberians, considering the kind of character Mary Broh is.

“Acting City Mayor, this is a day I have been wishing for all along as I saw you on television and heard you on local radios around here; I want to say, being a Champion in Liberia yea Africa with a calaba of person like you I am very proud. You are welcome to begin training at our academy next weekend, please come,” Master Russian noted.

Mayor Broh accepted the invitation, promising to immediately commence Taekwondo classes this Saturday.
