What may called the first boost to the Liberian economy from local investors took place on Monday when President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf broke grounds for the construction of a US$3.4M Matrix Realty Management Complex on 7th street in Sinkor.
Matrix Realty Management Corporation is a Liberian owned business that will be engaged exclusively in building estates and office-spaces. The Matrix Realty Management Complex will contain forty eight luxurious bedrooms, apartments and office suites.
The one hundred and twenty feet giant structure, which will have a glass curtain as its front wall, will be the first product of Matrix.
Speaking prior to the official ground breaking, President Johnson-Sirleaf said she has personally decided not to part take of any ground breaking ceremony because she had initially broken grounds for a number of projects that are yet to be completed.
“I am breaking grounds for the Matrix Realty Management Complex because I have lots and lots of confidence in the Investors.” She expressed.
For President, the fact that the 16 of August 2011 has already been set for the completion and official launched of the Complex, “that is a clear manifestation that the Matrix Realty Management Investment is not a mirage.”
Sigma Group Incorporated is the implementing Contractor while Design Builders D’ Christell nc. and CJ Construction Inc.are the project architect and Construction Managers respectively.
Pres. Johnson-Sirleaf used the occasion to urge Liberians both at home and abroad to continuously take on more investments that will benefit the Liberian society.
“I look forward for partnerships with more private entities that would benefit our people,” the Liberian leader maintained.
