Medical Foundation Donates to Phebe Hospital

The Liberia Medical Foundation has presented several medical supplies to the Phebe Hospital in Suakoko, Bong County. The supplies include mattresses, patient gowns and surgical materials.

Presenting the items on behalf of the organization, two officials of the LMF- Ne-Isaac Duana and Yuku Pope, said it was their institution’s way of identifying with the hospital with serious challenges.

Mr. Duana and Madam Pope added that their institution will continue to assist health facilities in Bong, Nimba and Montserrado Counties as part of an effort to enhance the health care delivery system. The two Liberia Medical Foundation Bong County officials committed their organization to providing assistance in the areas they have been licensed to operate.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Hospital, John Gleekieh of the Bong County Health Team and Acting Phebe Hospital Nursing Director Elizabeth Lewis, commended the organization for the assistance, describing it as timely.

They believed that the medical supplies will significantly assist the Phebe Hospital, emphasizing that the Hospital was short of mattresses. The Liberia Medical Foundation is a Liberian medical charity based in the United States of America.
