Minister Quamie motivates Lone Star players

By Naneka A.  Hoffman

Deputy Youth and Sports Minister G. Andy Quamie has urged the Liberia National Team Lone Star players to keep focus and concentrate on Sunday’s challenge.

Speaking Wednesday, 20 July in Paynesville, Minister Quamie said when the players step out on Sunday, 24 July 202, they should bear in mind that they are representing their country and their name.

He explained that former Lone Star players, now President George Weah, James Debbah, Christopher Wreh and others used this same ground to make their names and they would go down in history as great players.

The minister motivated the players to put discipline at the top of all they do and the benefits of their labor will be reflected.

Minister Quamie was trying to fire up Ansu Keita and his boys ahead of the Liberia-Senegal African Nations Championship due to be held at the SKD Sports Complex on Sunday, 24 July.

He stated that Technical Director Henry Brown stopped at the training facility. –Edited by Winston W. Parley
