Missing man drowns in Yar River
A 32-year-oldman, who reportedly went missing in Nimba County recently, has been found dead in the Yar River in Lessonnon Dohn Town, district # 8 in Nimba with several body parts allegedly missing. A family member of the deceased told the NewDawn correspondent in Nimba that four days after the late Junior Kor went missing, his body was discovered in the Yar River.
Yar Dolo, a sister of the deceased, narrated that her late brother was living with a girl friend in Lessonnon Dohn Town and the couple had left for the farm when Junior was called by his sister-in-law to her cross the Yar River where he allegedly drowned.
The town chief of Lessonnon Dohn has invited five residents of the town for questioning in relation to the death of Junior Kor. Residents of the town told The NewDawn that since the incident occurred two weeks ago, police are yet to pick up the case.
