The Ministry of Health in collaboration with Non-Communicable Disease and Infectious (NCDI) of Uganda ends weeklong intensive training on Palliative Health Care. Palliative Health Care is the treatment of prolong pains in human that creates unrest in human body.
The training brought together Doctors, nurses and Midwives from various health institutions across the Country. Lead facilitator, Profession Olaitan Soyamnawo, says they were honored and delighted to train health workers, adding that participants were responsive and keen during the training process. She lauds the Ministry of Health for the collaboration.
Professor Soyamnawo calls on the trainees to implement the knowledge acquired during the course of the intensive training. In Remark, Madam Florence Kiatomba, from the Non-Communicable Disease and Infectious Division of the Ministry thanks the Palliative Health Care Association based in Uganda for their farsightedness in coming to train heath workers in Liberia. She expresses the Health Ministry’s gratitude to the Association for the exercise and looks forward for more working engagements.
