More Wins For Liberian-Kenyan Clubs

The Kenya league is currently featuring two Liberians, while others are expected to join. One is Abraham Cokie; a former attacker from LPRC Oilers joined the Kenyan premiership side, APC Leopards at the start of the season. The Liberian is doing well, but needs to double up his efforts to ensure the club’s progress in ranking.

The club has played twelve league matches so far, gathering sixteen points from five wins, a single draw and six losses. They scored eleven goals and conceded twelve from the twelve league matches.

Thika United signed on two Liberians, defender Dirkir Glay of Watanga FC and forward Freeman Mulbah of Mighty Barrolle. Both players struggled to obtain work permits to allow them play in the league.

A recent report shows that Dirkir Glay was given work permit, allowing him into action on Sunday when they were whipped 1-0 away to Rangers FC. His fellow Liberian Mulbah is awaiting his permit.

Thika United is seventh on the table with eighteen points from twelve games.  They won five, drew four and were beaten in three.

Meanwhile, former LPRC Oilers left-back, Ernest Karneh is expected to join the Kenyan league side Western Stima FC during it 2nd phase of that country premiership.
