Multi TV Partners With Government

Syndicated Capital, the only accredited Multi TV distributor in Liberia, has finally launched the multi-purpose television channel in collaboration with the Government of Liberia.

At the same time, Multi TV in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports is organizing a free installer training exercise here for over 200 young people. The training is expected to start from December 9-11 at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville, outside Monrovia.

Youth and Sports Minister Lenn Eugene Nagbe, said the issue of unemployment especially among youths of Liberia needs to be addressed, adding that the training of youths as an installer for Multi TV will help to relieve this stress on the job market.

Minister Nagbe emphasized a need for the government to have a comprehensive approach to development in addressing the issue of unemployment, adding that government is proud to be a part of the launch of Multi TV in Liberia.

He noted that the government needs to teach young people how to fish instead of providing them fish all time. “With the training of our youths for the installation of multi TV will help to create more jobs for Liberians,” he said.

He described unemployment as a national security matter that needs to be addressed to enhance development. He disclosed that with the presence of Multi TV in Liberia, over 3000 jobs will be created.

According to the Management of Multi TV, qualified participants will receive an opportunity for employment by the institution as an installer. Multi TV is a free-to-Air Television’ station provider, offering 22 free TV channels and 12 free radio frequencies.

The Chief Operating Officer of Syndicated Capital, Nana O. Brown, said Multi TV is in Liberia to offer compelling information and entertainment. He said with Multi TV, one will enjoy all the movies, series, news, fun, sports, religious, political and lots of local channels 24/7 with no monthly subscription. Unlike DSTV in Liberia that requires monthly subscription fees from subscribers, Multi TV is a free.

Brown said Multi TV provides a 24-hour, seven days a week service with channels dedicated for Western movies, African movies, kids’ channel, news channels (Aljazeera and BBC) sports and one EPL live game weekly, including exclusively Christian and Islamic channels, among others.
