NAHWUL qualifies 9 for elections

The National Health Worker Union of Liberia or NAHWUL has qualified nine candidates to vie for various positions during its general elections scheduled for September 9, 2017 in Bong County, central Liberia.


The chairman of the election commission of NAHWUL, Mr. Jerry Kollie, says after advertising the vacant positions in seven local daily, only nine candidates met criteria set for the election. A press release issued quotes Mr. Kollie as saying that the qualified candidates include six males and three females.

The release names those qualified as Mr. Joseph S. Tamba, Mr. Kokulo Y. Yorgbor, Mr. A. Trokon Brown, and Miss Jimmietta Forma Barrolle. Others are: Mr. George Poe Williams, Mr. Deemi T. Dearzrua, Mr. Haford B. Keh, Mrs. Alice Q. Jackson, and Miss Nancy Y. Sirleaf.

Meanwhile the electoral commission says official campaigns start on Friday, 1st September, 2017 at 12:00 am and ends on Friday, 8th September, 2017 at 11:59 pm. Press Release
