NEC officials head to I. Coast

The Chairman of the National Elections Commission, (NEC) Cllr.Jerome G.Kokoya at the head of a 3-member delegation from the Commission has left the country to observe the Presidential Election in Ivory Coast.

The delegation is in Ivory Coast on the invitation of the ECOWAS Commission and the Mano River Union. The NEC delegation will join other election observers including Representatives of ECOWAS and MRU member States, Electoral Commissions, the ECOWAS Parliament, Civil Society, ECOWAS members of the Council of the Wise, the ECOWAS Court of Justice, the Media as well as other experts from the region.

Other members of the NECdelegation include the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Sam Cole and Commissioner Davidetta Brown-Lassana.
