Nigerian busted with 315.1kgs Cocaine

The Drug Enforcement Agency in Nimba County has arrested a 32-year-old Nigerian in possession of 315.1grams of Cocaine. He hid the drug in an Africa slipper, which he wore while traveling, according to The NewDawncorrespondent in Nimba.

DEA Nimba County commander Col. Julius Karnubeh, said suspect Paul OmenyiIkegbuman was arrested at the Ganta security checkpoint, while on his way from Lagos, Nigeria to Monrovia with the drugs.  Commander Karnubeh said suspect lKegbuman entered Liberia thru Loguatuo port of entry in Nimba, near the Ivorian border.

He put the estimated cost of the substance at US$7,875.00. Meanwhile, suspect lkegbuman has told The NewDawn that the drug was given to him by a friend identified as John Obiora in Lagos, Nigeria. The DEA had in the past arrested scores of Nigerians with dangerous substances both in Monrovia and other parts of Liberia.
