Nimba County : Hundreds Benefit From Free Surgical Operations

Coleman, has commended the Chief Executive Officer of Consolidated Group, Inc., Mr. Simeon Freeman, for his relentless humanitarian effort in sponsoring nationwide free general surgical operations for needy Liberians throughout the country.

According to a release, Dr. Coleman made the commendation recently at the G.W. Harley Hospital in Sanniquellie, Nimba County, where his organization carried out over one hundred surgical procedures including but not limited to cases of goiter, hernia, fibroid, and fistulae for men, women and children.

He noted that Mr. Freeman’s involvement with LISOP has brought great stimulation amongst Liberian medical doctors, nurses and health practitioners, to go out of their comfort zones in Monrovia and join LISOP in bringing relief and hope to hundreds of sick and needy people in the society.

The release stipulated that the former Health Minister described Mr. Freeman’s initiative as the greatest humanitarian services any Liberian could render his people and challenged other well meaning Liberians to emulate Mr. Freeman’s good example.

LISOP Praises DSTV Boss For Sponsorship

Dr. Coleman recounted that in 2009, Mr. Freeman sponsored the Liberia Surgical Outreach Program to render surgical services to hundreds of Liberians in Grand Bassa and Grand Kru Counties. The LISOP Boss revealed that after Nimba County, Mr. Freeman will be sending his team to Lofa County in April and later go to Grand Gedeh County.

For his part, the Liberian Philanthropist and business tycoon described Liberian doctors and nurses making sacrificial services in LISOP as national heroes and heroines, who deserve national recognition and support. Mr. Freeman promised to engage the National Excellence Awards Committee to recognize LISOP and its doctors, as true heroes of Liberia, the release ended.
