Nimba Educators battle Mr. Saileh reinstatement as CEO

Allen Paye Lablah, Sanniquellie City
Mr. George S.S Wuo, the man directed by the Ministry of Education to induct County Education Officer Mr. Wleh T. Saileh was Thursday left in total confusion as the where about of Mr. Saileh, remained unknown.

According to Mr. Wuo, the Nimba County Education offices remain closed Thursday, June 23, 2016 with placards on doors, windows, walls by teachers, principals, calling on Mr. Saileh to leave Nimba on ground that he lacks human relations skills Mr. Wuo told Radio Sehnwai news that because of the mounting tensions against Mr. Saileh’s reinstatement; he has kept himself away from protesting teachers and principals.

The Ministry of Education Region 2 Supervisor added that MOE agreed that Mr. Saileh lacks human relations skills but was not suspended for any administrative misconduct. He stressed that as the mounting tensions continued, the Acting CEO Mr. Peter Dologbaye will maintain his post while he compile his reports to the ministry for further redress of the Nimba Educators plights.

Wuo indicated that the Ministry of Education intent is to promote quality education in the county not confusion and chaos among educators. Few weeks ago Nimba County Board Chairman Patrick Luogon Lah vowed to resign on Radio Nimba if Mr. Wleh T. Saileh reinstatement materialized and sent to the county. He alleged that Mr. Saileh shows no respect for the County School Board views on school matters. He said this has prompted 12 members of the board in deciding to relinquish power if CEO Saileh returns to Nimba.

Mr. Lah also accused MOE authorities of not providing any information on the outcome of Mr. Saileh clandestine deals that led to his immediate suspension as CEO. ‘’Go Mr. Saileh, go Saileh Nimba Teachers do not need your service any more’’ these words came from angry protesting teachers.
