Nimbaians urged to maintain peace

The lead researcher for the platform for Dialogue and Peace in Liberia, Horace Nagbe, has called on Nimbaians to help maintain peace in Liberia as the United Nations Mission here UNMIL, draws down.

Speaking Monday at an appreciation program organized by Nimba County development superintendent, Dorr Cooper, for the people of Ganta, he cautions that if UNMIL finally leaves, Liberia should not return to violence.

Mr. Nagbe warns Liberians not to allow themselves to be fooled or misled by anyone to support war in the country. He calls on Nimbaians to see one another as brothers and sisters in working together to maintain peace.
