NP to construct US$4m storage

The management of National Petroleum or NP has disclosed plan to construct a storage facility in the country at an estimated cost of US$4 million. Speaking in Ganta, Nimba County, NP (Liberia) Managing Director Mohammed Kano said plans are underway to construct an art of the earth storage headquarters in Congo Town, outside Monrovia.

National Petroleum is a Sierra Leonean-based company that deals in petroleum products. It entered the Liberian market lately under the administration of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
Mr. Kano said, NP intends to expand to neighboring Guinea and Ivory Coast, adding that the tentacles will be spread throughout the Mano River Union Basin as a full fledge West African Company that is happily competing with others in the petroleum industry.

He assured dignitaries that as soon as the rain subsides, NP (Liberia) Ltd will pick up for Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County. The company over the weekend dedicated a modern filling station in Ganta, Nimba County Mr. Kano said as a leading importer of petroleum and petroleum products in Liberia, NP (Liberia) Ltd will ensure that its present is felt throughout the length and breadth of the country.
