Oliver Brown’s parents demand justice

Family members of the late five-year-old Oliver Brown whose body was discovered under mysterious circumstances on 11 January in a packed vehicle in Logan Town Quiah Street Community, Bushrod Island outskirt of Monrovia suspect there is foulplay associated with his demise.

Sources explain that the following day, immediate family members of the deceased and some residents took a formal complaint to the police about the missing child.

They note that search for the child continued until Tuesday evening, 16 January when information came that the lad had been discovered dead in a vehicle parked inside a compound owned by a Nigerian only identified as Samson.

Police have made several arrests, including prime suspect, the Nigerian in connection with lad’s death inside the compound. Speaking in an execlusive interview with The New Dawn on Thursday, 18 January an aunt the deceased Madam Agnes Kamara, narrates she and a neighbor were asked by the police to identify little Oliver Brown’s body while it was lying in a vehicle in a fence owned by an unidentified Nigeria national.

She explains that when they arrived on the scene where the body was discovered, they saw the deceased’s slappers, shirt and trousres on the ground, and immediately recognized it was Oliver Brown.

Agnes continues that they discovered that the victim’s eyes, tongue and teeth were abstracted, which resulted to profuse bleeding in the vehicle, adding that a chemical was used on the face of the deceased before he was murdered.

She challenges the police alleged finding that there was no foulplay in the death of the late Oliver Brown.Agnes argues that if the police findings are something to go by, then why the deceasd bled through his mouth.
