One killed, Several Injured

One person is reported dead while several inquire medical attention following a motor car accident at Sand Beach Junction on the Rivercess and Sinoe Highway on Sunday, 29 August.

According to our correspondent, the dead is identified as Paul. He got on the vehicle marked PP 1088 from Red-light as the driver’s mate (carboy), heading to Greenville.

The vehicle was climbing a hill when the brake gave up. The driver lost control of his car, thus creating uproar amongst the passengers. Paul decided to jump down from the fast moving vehicle.

In that process, he got killed. A total of 12 passengers were onboard the vehicle. The rest of them plus the driver got seriously injured.
