The CEO of a Liberian-owned construction company, Elite Construction and Global Services Mr. Abdul A. Sheriff has stressed that only Liberians can build Liberia with unity and common purpose.
Mr. Sheriff said his construction company will take the responsibility if provided, to execute all projects belonging to the government especially those that focus on health facilities across the country.
Speaking with reporters recently in Monrovia at the company head office, he said ELITE Construction Company has been in the construction business in Liberia for years. According to him, the company has constructed many modern buildings, including health centers in four counties and now they are working closely with the U.S. Embassy in Monrovia to undertake most of their construction works.
He said his company has executed rehabilitation works in various counties, including Bong, Margibi, Marshall City, and Tubmanburg, Bomi County, respectively.“Quite recently during our dedicatory ceremony in Fuamah District, lower Bong County on November 21, 2016, we constructed a modern health facility, which the government provided funding for thru her partner the World Bank”, he said..
He said the company’s goal is to help its clients to solicit the best balance of value and beauty for their construction projects. He disclosed that currently, the company is pre-financing about 70 percent of its projects with an in-house trained and qualified staff.
Also speaking, Project Manager Mr. LoseneKanneh said he was pride of his team of engineers and the entire staff for the level development they carried out in some counties, saying ELITE Contractors and Global Company is a Liberian-owned company that government needs to support in order to create more jobs for young people.
