PAL to hold by-election

The Publishers Association of Liberia is expected to hold Bi-election on Friday, April 20, 2018 in consonance with the By-Laws and Constitution of the Association


In fulfillment of this mandate, the Ad-Hoc Elections Committee of the Publishers’ Association of Liberia (PAL) has released the calendar of events to hold the Bi-election to fill the vacant position of Vice President.

The Bi-election comes as a result of the resignation of the President of the Association, Mr. Philipbert S. Browne of the Hot Pepper Newspaper.

As enshrined in the Constitution of the Publishers Association of Liberia, the Vice President, Othello Garblah of the New Dawn Newspaper, ascended to the position of President thereby leaving the post of Vice President vacant for which the conduct of a bi-election is required.

Fees for Registration
All members wishing to contest for the post are required to write a letter of application to the committee, with a non-refundable fee of US$150.
