Pastor, Prophet clash over extra marital affairs

The Christ Fellowship Church in Bethel Hill Community, Barnersville Township turned into a battleground over the weekend when the church’s senior pastor and prophet clashed at a meeting full of allegations of extra marital affairs.

Residents of the community pulled in mass numbers at the church compound to witness the drama, standing in total surprise as church members divided in two groups between the prophet and the senior pastor used alleged abusive languages that this paper cannot mention.

There is a claim that Christ Fellowship Senior Pastor Papadalius C. Julu and the church’s Prophet Momham Keita’s fight started in a meeting that was called by Pastor Julu and the church membership.

A man who claims to be a part – time worshiper at the church Mr. Mark Kpan told this paper that Pastor Julu called a membership meeting to find out why most of the members had abandoned the church’s services and activities.

According to Mr. Kpan, in response to Pastor Julu’s concern of members abandoning the church, a female member stood up and told Pastor Julu that people were leaving the church because Pastor Julu and Prophet Keita were allegedly spoiling the church’s name within the community.

Mr. Kpan alleges that Pastor Julu was accused of encouraging his members to love to Prophet Keita. When Prophet Keita was informed about the meeting, he allegedly drove to the church with some of his followers and allegedly disrupted the meeting.

During an exchange in the church compound, Prophet Keita then allegedly disclosed to the huge crowd that Pastor Julu was awarding him (Prophet Keita) with church members for keeping some of Pastor Julu’s secrets.

Mr. Kpan concluded that while the two church leaders were allegedly abusing each other, Prophet Keita invited the Liberia National Police (LNP) from the Barnerville Kebbah Deport Zone Four to intervene in the matter.

When the Kebbah Police Deport was contacted, it was confirmed that Prophet Keita reported a case there against the Christ Fellowship, but the nature of the case was not discussed.

When this paper visited the Christ Fellowship Church Compound over the weekend, Pastor Julu admitted to all the happening narrated by Mr. Kpan.

He confirmed the allegations levied against him by Prophet Keita, but accused Prophet Keita of loving and lying to girls within the church that he is not married.

When this paper visited Prophet Keita’s house, he boasted about his connections and contacts in and out of Liberia, insulted and asked our reporter to leave his house.

Prophet Keita further told our reporter that he has lawyers and willing to repeat everything he said at the church in court. He says if he needed press coverage, he has the connection to bring ELBC and the Ministry of Information to publish him.
