Your Excellency:
Re.: Your Position on Same Sex Marriage

Please accept my profound compliments in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the son of the Almighty God whose name is above every other name. I am Prophet Ezekiel N. Douglas, Founder of the Douglas World Evangelistic Ministries and also Assistant Pastor of Jireh International Ministries, Jamaica Road.

As a ministry, we give God the glory and congratulate you on your Second Term as President of the Republic of Liberia, and also on your achievement as one of the winners of the Nobel Peace Prize Award “for promotion cometh neither from the east, west, north or south, but promotion come from the Lord”. (Psalm 75:6).

Your Excellency, I write as a voice in this nation and a Prophet of God to remind you of God’s prophetic agenda for Liberia. It will interest you to know that Liberia is Israel in Africa and mother of Africa. This nation, Liberia will steer up the affairs of the African continent and will bring revival to Africa. God is going to use Liberia to restore His Glory back to Him.

Your Excellency, by prophetic elucidation, I understood that what Liberia went through during the 14 years of civil variance was a result of God’s judgment, but I have good news for you and the people of Liberia, “What do ye imagine against the Lord?” “He will make an utter end:” “Affliction shall not rise up the second time.” – Nahun 1:9. This is to say that affliction will not rise up the second time “If” Liberians will do those things that will please the Almighty God.

On June 8th, 2012, at about 3am, the Lord woke me up and opened up my eyes in the Spirit where I practically saw blood and dead bodies on the streets of Monrovia, I asked the Lord “what was this” and he told me that “these are the bodies that I God have passed my judgment on”. I furthered asked him “why did you passed your judgment on them?” and his response was “these are the people that passed into lay GAY & SAME SEX MARRIAGE.”  

Finally, he said unto me “son, call my people together, including the press and proclaim my message to all and let it go across,” he said to me with a loud voice saying “it is the message of SAY NO TO SAME SEX MARRIAGE in Liberia and I want you to preach against it and campaign against it and if my people will not hear my voice through you, then I will do as I did in the days of Noah.” In compliance to his command, I call the press and the hope of Liberia at our local church where I spoke on the judgment of God.

Your Excellency, the act of gay marriage is equivalent to sodomy, a second degree felony, which violates Section 14.79 of the New Penal Code of Liberia. I also want you to know that this act has the predisposition of inviting God’s judgment over our nation.

Your Excellency please be informed that the Douglas World Evangelistic Ministries with support from the churches of Liberia are campaigning against this impiety on a slogan “Say No To Same Sex Marriage”. In view of the ongoing debate about this subject, we want to know your position on this matter as being neutral is not healthy for Liberia because 98 percent of other African governments have our rightly rejected Same Sex Marriage with legislation or strong statements/actions from their leaders.
